小石原焼（福岡県）のミニカップ。掌に包み込めるミニサイズで、野菜ジュースやエスプレッソ、日本酒や焼酎ロックなどに使いやすい大きさです。お薬を飲むときにもちょうど良さそう。シュっとしたフォルムと1本トビカンナのデザインがカッコいいので、プレゼントにも喜ばれそうです。
★飛び鉋（トビカンナ）：ろくろを回転させながら、鉋（かんな）で細かな連続の削り目をつける手法。大工さんが施す鉋の目に似ていることから、この名称がついたとされています。

小石原焼蔵人窯（くらんどがま）
～福岡県朝倉郡東峰村～

小石原村（現在は東峰村）は、福岡県の中南部、修験道で知られる英彦山（ひこさん）の西麓に位置し、山向こうは大分県の大鹿田焼（おんたやき）の窯里です。小石原焼は、約350年の伝統があり、現在は45軒前後の窯元が点在しています。

蔵人窯（くらんどかま）さんは、当主の小野永蔵さんと息子の雄大さん親子で作陶されている小石原焼の窯元さんです。小石原焼の特徴とも言える装飾技法 ‘飛び鉋（とびかんな）’ をモダンに取り入れたシンプルでお洒落なデザインの器が多く、軽くて日常使いしやすいのも特長です。
